What is the number for tech not in a foreign country because I have a hard time with there accent. Good but i think pro pinnacle is much more better One person found this helpful. Others have reviewed the performance and capabilities of Pinnacle Studio 18 Plus. Rather than duplicate what they have already said most of which I pretty much agree with I am going to focus this review on the installation and out of the box experience.
When you first see the box, it appears large enough to include the CD and a decent user manual. However, the size of the box is deceptive. All that the box contains is the CD, an installation pamphlet printed in 15 languages and a lot of empty air.
There is no real user documentation included. I've said it before and I will say it again--"Hey software vendors! Some of us do read your manuals.
So please include more than a brief installation guide with your product! It also cheats the user. With a product as sophisticated and complex as Pinnacle Studio 18 Plus, a decently printed manual with good color screen shots is absolutely essential! Corel requires a significant amount of personal information in order to register the product. This includes an email address, a snail mail address and a phone number.
As easily and frequently as businesses are hacked these days, Corel should limit the information that they ask the user to provide in order to register the product. Installation takes a very long time--even on a decent computer. My PC is relatively new, has plenty of memory, a decent processor and fast hard drive.
Yet the "typical" installation including the required prerequisites such as. Net, the content packages and updates took nearly an hour to complete. I started playing a classical music CD on my stereo as the installation started. While that's not an unheard cost for an iPad app, it's still rather steep for an app--especially one that is simply a starter for the main application. After the installation completes, two icons are installed on the desktop. One is Pinnacle Studio 18 Plus itself.

Try Google Search! I used Pinnacle Studio 11 all the time since adopting video as a hobby. I was extremely disappointed with the "upgrade" Pinnacle Studio 18 Ultimate. I now use Adobe Premier Elements - that's not as complicated! Studio 18 is more of a professional programme now! Not recommended for beginners or the casual user. Sort by.
